Renaissance rugs

The cultural movement of the early modern period was known for the reborn interest in classical art and ideas of ancient Greece and Rome. Still popular in our day and age, this historical revival gave birth to Baroque-inspired motifs and opulent designs. Renaissance patterns have been a popular trend season after season, especially in décor and furniture.

We have put together a rug collection that translates a bit of the artistic quality of this time period. Renaissance rugs are available in two designs, namely Beluchi and Patchwork. Beluchi, with a stately floral pattern and traditional border, is available in 3 colourways, Royal, Mist and Dune. As the name implies, Patchwork has an artisanal appearance, large squares in hues of lime and subdued blue, are adorned with a variety of grandiose designs seemingly casually hand stitched together in rough yarn.
